The One Practice

In this moment – in any moment – you can adopt a vantage outside your thoughts and feelings, to witness them and learn from them, to love and permit them with a fully abstracted awareness. No matter what passions or joys, what anger or grief or conflict consume your mind, you can choose a perspective outside the mind, and make this moment the object of your meditation.

"This is a course in miracles. It is a required course. Only the time you take it is voluntary. Free will does not mean that you can establish the curriculum. It means only that you can elect what you want to take at a given time. The course does not aim at teaching the meaning of love, for that is beyond what can be taught. It does aim, however, at removing the blocks to the awareness of love's presence, which is your natural inheritance.

The opposite of love is fear, but what is all-encompassing can have no opposite."

For put them side by side
The one the other will contain
With ease and You beside."

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies in the final sense a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed."

- President Dwight D. Eisenhower, 1953

"I hate war as only a soldier who has lived it can, only as one who has seen its brutality, its futility, its stupidity."

- General Dwight D. Eisenhower, 1946

"By means of all created things, without exception, the divine assails us, penetrates us and moulds us. We imagined it as distant and inaccessible, whereas in fact we live steeped in its burning layers."

"Take one moment; in innocence, be here now, like a child - fully immerse yourself in the present ... we need not search outside this instant, we need not search outside ourselves! Peace is a simple byproduct of presence, of effortless natural silence."

The Ishayas' Ascension is a Teaching which offers a series of simple techniques which pull the mind inward.
